If you're anything like me, you've got the big clock and weather forecasting widget on the screen of your Android-powered phone. I'm talking about HTC Sense Clock and Weather Gadget in case you've got a HTC mobile phone. Otherwise, there is Fancy Widget and Beautiful Widgets on Android Market which looks and works quite the same. Now, if you like one of those, why not to get HTC Home widget for your Windows desktop?
HTC Home is a free widget for Windows Seven and Vista that can display the time and 5-day weather forecast on your desktop. Looks gorgeous and even better then the animated clock and weather conditions displayed on HTC phones. More, the widget features additional animations such as raindrops falling over the the widget, clouds and so on.
To get into the widget setting, right click on it. In here, you can toggle the animations on and off, change the time format and the unit of measurement (Celsius or Fahrenheit), weather provider, skin, and quite a few more settings. When you right click on the widget, you can also resize it, set it pin to location that you've chosen (to prevent accidental moving) and to make the widget to stay-on-top of other applications
