Strong DC++

If you are familiar with 'DC++', you should know what 'Strong DC++' is. Unlike 'DC++', 'Strong DC++' is a file sharing client application, which can download files from multiple alternate sources. Thus, if you want to download, from a hub, a file that more users have, this program will find those users based on a TTH root. This reduces the time needed to download the file. If you need a file quickly, I think this is the right choice. Among other things, you can chat with users from a hub in a private or main chat. In the hub list, which is downloaded by the program, there are many hubs from which to choose.

If you select some hubs as your favorite, the program will connect automatically to them each time it starts. While it's minimized, it stays in the system tray and continues to download and upload files. You can set filters for searching and get the results that you need. You can specify the size of the file as an exact value, as well as less or more than a value. This value can be specified in bytes, Kilobytes, Megabytes, or Gigabytes. To log on certain hubs, you need to share certain amounts of data.

The user interface is easy-to-use. If you keep many hub windows or search windows opened you can arrange them in cascade, horizontal tile, or vertical tile. The toolbar includes buttons for fast access.

Pluses: It's free and fast. You can download from multiple sources.

Drawbacks / flaws: Hashing the shared data takes too long.

In conclusion: In my opinion this is better than the regular 'DC++', because you get your needed files faster
